Nicole Wilke, ANP

Nicole (Nikki) graduated from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) in 2007 with her RN-BSN. She worked at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs from 2007-2010 working inpatient high-risk OB and women’s health. After moving to Denver in 2010, she worked at The Medical Center of Aurora in Cardiac. She graduated from UCCS in 2012 with her MSN, focus in Adult Nurse Practitioner.  She returned home to the Grand Valley in 2012 where she started working for Primary Care Partners as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, partnering with Dr. Amy Bratteli.

In 2019 her desire to bring a more holistic approach to health care led her to pursue additional training in Nurse Coaching, where she developed skills of a Health Coach built upon the foundation of her training as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner. This gave her the avenue to meet patients and clients in a different capacity than their primary care provider and really help those clients focus on defining what health means to them and achieving the goals they created. She remained in primary care through December 2020 when her priorities changed due to her growing family. Since then, her focus is working part time in Bio-Identical Hormones and Transformational Nurse Coaching.

In her spare time, Nikki enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, being outside and up on the Mesa.

Misti Photo Edit.jpg

Misti Gillam, RN

Misti grew up in Wyoming and she will tell you that the wind blew her to Grand Junction.  After spending a mild winter here in 2011, she was ready to put down roots.

Misti received her B.S. degree in Social Science from the University of Wyoming, majoring in both Psychology and Sociology. She went on to graduate with an A.S. in Nursing from Western Wyoming Community College and has been a Registered Nurse for over 10 years. Misti’s nursing career has primarily focused on case management, supporting patients requiring a higher level of care.

Misti believes in the human connection.  She knows the importance of having someone feel seen, heard, and valued.  While being empathetic and providing compassionate care, Misti forms relationships with her patients easily.

In her free time, Misti enjoys getting her hands dirty, whether that is in the form of weeding her vegetable/herb garden or planting more flowers around her home.

Misti believes having a sense of humor is a must in nursing as laughter always lightens the load.
